About this experience

Silk painting involves applying color while creating patterns on silk.

The focus of this workshop is on the creative process and the production of an accessory using a specific technique.

No prior knowledge or drawing/painting experience is necessary.

Workshop procedure

At the beginning of the workshop, Suzanne briefly explains a history of silk dyeing, as well as the steps of the workshop. She talks about the materials and shows some possible techniques.

Then, you will look for patterns and colours yourself to quickly get to the heart of the matter, by stretching the silk on a frame and starting to paint, all the while observing the elegant diffusion of colour.

You will go home with a silk square measuring 60x60 cm, a unique creation that you will be eager to display, offer or wear with pride!

*All materials are provided for the duration of the workshop. However, we recommend that you bring an apron to protect your clothes during the workshop.

No experience required, this workshop is designed for beginners!
Even if you think you don't have the artistic side, Suzanne will be able to reveal the creative talents that lie dormant within you ;)
