Présentation
Parmi les citronnelles, cette variété originaire d’Indonésie possède la plus grande richesse moléculaire, puisqu’on y trouve, sans surprise, du citronnellal, mais aussi des monoterpénols, géraniol et du citronnellol en tête, des esters, des sesquiterpènes, une pointe de phénols (esters).
Propriétés
L’huile essentielle de citronnelle de Java exerce une action anti-inflammatoire au niveau articulaire. Elle peut se substituer sur ce plan à l’HE d’eucalyptus citronné. Elle est antibactérienne et antifongique. C’est évidemment le répulsif des moustiques par excellence. Après coup, elle soulage de leurs piqûres.
Plan psycho-émotionnel
L’accent de citronnelle est bien présent mais les monoterpénols apportent leur vigueur. Le géraniol, en particulier, apporte sa note caractéristique de rose. Cette citronnelle de Java est tout sauf monotone. On appréciera ses vertus d’antidépresseur exerçant ses effets autant sur le plan émotionnel que sur le plan physique : la pointe d’eugénol (et donc de girofle) est aussi discrète qu’efficace.
Notre avis
Un excellent produit pour diffuseur, non seulement comme répulsif des insectes, mais aussi purifiant. Cette HE peut aussi s’envisager dans le domaine ménager (lave-linge…) mais aussi dans le domaine culinaire.
Précautions d'emploi
- Ne pas utiliser pendant la grossesse ou l'allaitement, ni chez les jeunes enfants.
- Cette huile à une tendance irritante quand elle est utilisée pure, veillez à suffisamment la diluée pour l’utilisation cutanée.
- Evitez tout contact avec les yeux.
- Risque d'allergie (géraniol, citronnellol, limonène, eugénol, linalol, citral) : veillez à ne pas surdoser dans les mélanges ; le test du creux du coude sera recommandé préalablement à toute application cutanée (min 48h avant utilisation).

CLOTHING PRODUCTS

- For nobel materials such as cotton, silk and linen we advise you to clean it at 30°.
- Reversing your garment before laundry will avoid fabric and color changes.
- For more ecological and longer life of your garments, let them air overnight after each use to avoid additional washing.

LEATHER GOODS PRODUCTS
Majority of the products are treated against moisture and dirt, but it's still necessary to keep your handbag clean to make them last longer.
- Brush off visible dirt with a soft and clean brush. For your laqué bag you can use a dry cloth.
- Clean with a damp (not moist!) cloth to remove invisible dust, dirt, pollution, etc. If there are no visible spots left, this should suffice. For your laqué bag you can use a dry cloth.
- If there are still spots, try using a leather cleaner, but the type of products depends on the kind of leather of your bag. Always try your product of choice on a piece of leather on the inside of the bag first!
- If you have suede leather, try using a suede rubber to remove spots before you go all in with a cleaning product.
- Just like our skin, leather needs some moisturizing to stay supple. If you don’t clean and moisturize, your leather will wrinkle and dry out overtime. But there’s a tricky part to this story… Some types of leather need a different approach.
When you’re not using your handbag, keep them in their dust bags. Also, to keep the shape of the bag, try to fill it with some paper during the off season.
