Présentation
Sa composition biochimique s’articule autour de deux ingrédients : le menthol, un monoterpénol, et la menthone, une cétone. Plus marginalement, on y trouve des esters, des oxydes et des sesquiterpènes.
Propriétés
L’huile essentielle de menthe poivrée est fortement tonique, voire hypertensive. Elle stimule la digestion, elle draine le foie et participe à sa régénération. Elle est efficace contre les nausées, à l’exception de celles de la femme enceinte et allaitante. En faible quantité, on l’associe à diverses huiles essentielles à visée respiratoire.
Elle est très réputée pour son action antalgique (anti-douleur) puissante et rapide. En cas de mal de tête ou de migraine, une goutte sur chaque tempe améliore rapidement la situation et permet de soulager efficacement la douleur.
Elle est utilisée pour venir à bout d’un zona. Elle repousse les insectes, est vermifuge et antiparasitaire.
Sur le plan cosmétique, on l'utilise à toute petite dose pour raffermir les vaisseaux dilatés et pour son action raffermissante, en particulier sur les tissus relâchés.
Plan psycho-émotionnel
L’huile essentielle de menthe poivrée dégage un arôme vif, pénétrant, entêtant. On vérifie, sur ce plan, une franche confirmation des propriétés de base : cette huile essentielle est céphalique, stimulant l’esprit, rendant les idées claires et facilitant la concentration. Une vraie alliée en période de stress, de grande fatigue ou d'examens !
Précaution d'emploi
- Complément alimentaire. Tenir hors de la portée des enfants; Ne pas dépasser la dose journalière recommandée. Ne se substitue pas à un régime alimentaire varié ni à un mode de vie sain.
- Ne pas administrer aux femmes enceintes et allaitantes.
- Ne pas administrer aux personnes fragiles sur le plan nerveux.
- Une certaine dermocausticité impose que cette HE soit suffisamment diluée dans le cadre de l'usage cutané.
- De manière théorique et non vérifiée : interactions possibles avec certains médicaments (que l'HE inhiberait ou renforcerait)
- Evitez tout contact avec les yeux

CLOTHING PRODUCTS
We advise you to read the caring instructions you will find in the reverse of each clothing piece.
- For nobel materials such as cotton, silk and linen we advise you to clean it at 30°.
- Reversing your garment before laundry will avoid fabric and color changes.
- For more ecological and longer life of your garments, let them air overnight after each use to avoid additional washing.

LEATHER GOODS PRODUCTS
Majority of the products are treated against moisture and dirt, but it's still necessary to keep your handbag clean to make them last longer.
- Brush off visible dirt with a soft and clean brush. For your laqué bag you can use a dry cloth.
- Clean with a damp (not moist!) cloth to remove invisible dust, dirt, pollution, etc. If there are no visible spots left, this should suffice. For your laqué bag you can use a dry cloth.
- If there are still spots, try using a leather cleaner, but the type of products depends on the kind of leather of your bag. Always try your product of choice on a piece of leather on the inside of the bag first!
- If you have suede leather, try using a suede rubber to remove spots before you go all in with a cleaning product.
- Just like our skin, leather needs some moisturizing to stay supple. If you don’t clean and moisturize, your leather will wrinkle and dry out overtime. But there’s a tricky part to this story… Some types of leather need a different approach.
When you’re not using your handbag, keep them in their dust bags. Also, to keep the shape of the bag, try to fill it with some paper during the off season.
