Botanical family Lamiaceae or labiates
Latin name: Lavandula latifolia spica
Essential oil obtained by distillation of flowering tops
From controlled organic farming: Certisys-BE1 control
Capacity: 10 ml.
Presentation
Spike lavender grows at a lower altitude than true lavender. A generally wild species, it grows on hillsides not exceeding 600 m altitude. The three major ingredients in its biochemistry are linalool (a common monoterpenol), cineole and camphor (or borneone).
Properties
The action of aspic lavender essential oil will be greater than that of fine lavender on burns and bites from venomous animals such as insects, scorpions, etc. Its restorative power of the skin extends to the treatment of mycoses and various dermatoses. The presence of cineole oxide gives it expectorant and mucolytic properties. It is suitable as a basic treatment for respiratory conditions. It can be considered to reduce joint rheumatism and muscle cramps. Tonic, and in particular cardiac tonic, thanks to its camphor.
Psycho-emotional plan
Lively and oxygenating, it perfectly expresses the luminous and wild nature from which it comes. No peaceful interiorization as in the case of fine lavender, but a frank opening of the heart and mind towards escape and a change of scenery. In daily life, its great talent is to make us impervious to stress - linalool obliges - so that our mind can function lucidly and without hindrance.
Precautions for use
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in young children.
- Not suitable for people with epilepsy.
- High content of 1,8-cineole, caution for asthmatics.
- Avoid all contact with eyes.
- The crook of the elbow test will be recommended before any skin application (min. 48 hours before use).
- Keep out of reach of children

LEATHER GOODS PRODUCTS
Majority of the products are treated against moisture and dirt, but it's still necessary to keep your handbag clean to make them last longer.
- Brush off visible dirt with a soft and clean brush. For your lacquered bag you can use a dry cloth.
- Clean with a damp (not moist!) cloth to remove invisible dust, dirt, pollution, etc. If there are no visible spots left, this should suffice. For your lacquered bag you can use a dry cloth.
- If there are still spots, try using a leather cleaner, but the type of products depends on the kind of leather of your bag. Always try your product of choice on a piece of leather on the inside of the bag first!
- If you have suede leather, try using a suede rubber to remove spots before you go all in with a cleaning product.
- Just like our skin, leather needs some moisturizing to stay supple. If you don't clean and moisturize, your leather will wrinkle and dry out overtime. But there's a tricky part to this story… Some types of leather need a different approach.
When you're not using your handbag, keep them in their dust bags. Also, to keep the shape of the bag, try to fill it with some paper during the off season.
