Red mandarin essential oil

Botanical family Rutaceae
Latin name: Citrus reticulata
Essence obtained by expression of the zest of the fruit
From controlled organic farming: Certisys-BE1 control
Origin: Sicily and Brazil

Capacity: 10 ml.

Red mandarin essence far outperforms its green and yellow equivalents. It contains a lot of limonene, a little less pinenes and “anthranylate”, a molecule which, despite its low representation, explains the sedative action of this essence. On the other hand, there are few aldehydes and monoterpenols, hence the characteristic sweetness of the aroma.

Mandarin essences, red and green, calm and harmonize the central and autonomic nervous system. They are also attributed with aperitif and digestive properties. Perfect as an aroma diffuser to sanitize the air. One of the most used essences in culinary flavoring and in various household products

Perfect for diffusion.
Internally, to promote sleep: 2 drops in the early evening and 2 drops before going to bed.
As an intense fruity note in your diffuser blends and in your massage oils.
Beautiful combination in synergy with fine lavender and bitter orange petit grain to compose a multi-use aromatherapy recipe.

Psycho-emotional plan
The aroma of red mandarin essence perfectly evokes the fruit from which it comes. Less tender, however, than orange or grapefruit, it lacks either spice or liveliness. The quality of sleep that it can induce will therefore allow you to “recharge your batteries”. The fragrance of this variety is "long" and persistent.

Majority of the products are treated against moisture and dirt, but it's still necessary to keep your handbag clean to make them last longer.

  • Brush off visible dirt with a soft and clean brush. For your lacquered bag you can use a dry cloth.
  • Clean with a damp (not moist!) cloth to remove invisible dust, dirt, pollution, etc. If there are no visible spots left, this should suffice. For your lacquered bag you can use a dry cloth.
  • If there are still spots, try using a leather cleaner, but the type of products depends on the kind of leather of your bag. Always try your product of choice on a piece of leather on the inside of the bag first!
  • If you have suede leather, try using a suede rubber to remove spots before you go all in with a cleaning product.
  • Just like our skin, leather needs some moisturizing to stay supple. If you don't clean and moisturize, your leather will wrinkle and dry out overtime. But there's a tricky part to this story… Some types of leather need a different approach.

When you're not using your handbag, keep them in their dust bags. Also, to keep the shape of the bag, try to fill it with some paper during the off season.
